The price achieved of GBP 128,500.00 (€ 154,565.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Still Life With Pears, Apples, Chrysanthemum And Other Flowers In A Basket Beside Two Large Lemons is the most expensive artwork by Simone del Tintore that we have observed at auctions so far.
