Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Simon Simonsen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in January 2024 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Four sketches with humans and animals changed hands for DKK 250.00 (€ 218.49) - just shy of the DKK 2,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Simonsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dachshund Puppies in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,639.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Simon Simonsen konnte im Januar 2024 bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Four sketches with humans and animals für DKK 250,00 (€ 218,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Simonsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dachshund Puppies im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.639,46).
