Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work A farmer with his horses on a farm yard with chickens by Simon Simonsen for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Simon Simonsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dachshund Puppies in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,639.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A farmer with his horses on a farm yard with chickens von Simon Simonsen für DKK 2.000,00 (€ 1.747,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Simon Simonsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dachshund Puppies im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.639,46).
