Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio toscano by Silvio Consadori was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 500.00 – 550.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 450.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Silvio Consadori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tre Marie in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 5,875,000.00 (€ 5,038.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio toscano von Silvio Consadori im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 550,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 450,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Silvio Consadori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tre Marie im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 5.875.000,00 (€ 5.038,59).
