A top price for Silvio Bicchi - as previously expected
The work Signora Tra Il Verde by Silvio Bicchi was sold in the ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO auction at Christies in Rome in June 2001. The price achieved of EUR 17,150.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Signora Tra Il Verde is the most expensive artwork by Silvio Bicchi that we have observed at auctions so far.
