Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Composizione Concrete by Silvano Bozzolini was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,742.34). Admittedly, works by Silvano Bozzolini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in January 2006 with an auction result of EUR 7,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Composizione Concrete von Silvano Bozzolini im Februar 2013 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.742,34) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Silvano Bozzolini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.800,00.
