Artwork auctioned at six times the upper estimate price
When the work Sans Titre by Shuck 2 was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in November 2010, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at - in retrospect quite modest - EUR 501.00 but the actual price achieved was more than six times as high at EUR 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shuck 2; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot C'Est Kdo - 2015 sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of EUR 5,200.00.
Kunstwerk zum Sechsfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Als die Arbeit Sans Titre von Shuck 2 im November 2010 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches. Der obere Schätzpreis war mit – rückwirkend betrachtet recht bescheidenen – EUR 501,00 angesetzt, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis hingegen war mit EUR 3.500,00 mehr als sechsmal so hoch. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Shuck 2; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit C'Est Kdo - 2015 im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.200,00.
