A top price for Shoeido Eisho - as previously expected
In November 2007 Christies in London held the auction Japanese Ceramics & Works of Art, which included the work Unknown by Shoeido Eisho. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,100.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Unknown is the most expensive artwork by Shoeido Eisho that we have observed at auctions so far.
