The work A windy day by Shin Myongbom was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2006. The price achieved of USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,783.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A windy day is the most expensive artwork by Shin Myongbom that we have observed at auctions so far.
