In January 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Outsider and Vernacular Art, which included the work Untitled (Woman in Pink) by Shields Landon Jones. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,180.47), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, Untitled (Woman in Pink) is even the most expensive work of art by Shields Landon Jones that we have observed at auctions so far.
