Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Poems in Xingshu by Shen Yinmo was worth HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,423.41) to a buyer in December 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Yinmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems By Shu Manshu in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 6,720,000.00 (€ 756,681.96).

Die Arbeit Poems in Xingshu von Shen Yinmo war einem Käufer im Dezember 2021 HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.423,41) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Yinmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems By Shu Manshu im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.720.000,00 (€ 756.681,96).
