Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Xingshu by Shen Yinmo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,187.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Yinmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems By Shu Manshu in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 6,720,000.00 (€ 756,681.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Xingshu von Shen Yinmo kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.187,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Yinmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems By Shu Manshu im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.720.000,00 (€ 756.681,96).
