Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Shen Yinmo was auctioned at Christies in Cologne in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 75,600.00 (€ 9,061.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Yinmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poems By Shu Manshu in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 6,720,000.00 (€ 756,681.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Shen Yinmo kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.600,00 (€ 9.061,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Yinmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poems By Shu Manshu im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.720.000,00 (€ 756.681,96).
