Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Shen Peng achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in November this year. In the Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III auction, the work Calligraphy In Running Script sold for HKD 22,800.00 (€ 2,675.47) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shen Peng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work SEVEN-CHARACTER POEM in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,602.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shen Peng erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script für HKD 22.800,00 (€ 2.675,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Peng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit SEVEN-CHARACTER POEM im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.602,83).
