A top price for Shen Lian - as previously expected
The work Green Mountain Top by Shen Lian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,828.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Green Mountain Top is the most expensive artwork by Shen Lian that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Green Mountain Top von Shen Lian kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.828,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Green Mountain Top das teuerste Kunstwerk von Shen Lian, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
