The work Brother Series No. 3 by Shen Hua was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,383.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Shen Hua have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Manual Worker Series No. 22 was auctioned for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,014.35).
