Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Portrait Of A Woman by Sheldon Peck was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,944.44). Other works by Sheldon Peck have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2020 by the work Portrait of a Woman in Ruffled Bonnet and Lace Collar at USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,268.37).

Als die Arbeit Portrait Of A Woman von Sheldon Peck im Januar 2014 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
