Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled, 2000 by Shaun Gladwell was sold in the Sherman | Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Sidney in June last year. It achieved a price of AUD 1,045.50 (€ 998.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shaun Gladwell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Storm Sequence, 2000 in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 84,000.00 (€ 50,230.04).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 2000 von Shaun Gladwell wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Sherman | Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Sidney versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 1.045,50 (€ 998,66) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shaun Gladwell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Storm Sequence, 2000 im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 84.000,00 (€ 50.230,04).
