This work of art by Sharon Lockhart could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the A Life Among Artists: Contemporary Photographs from an Esteemed Private Collection auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 2,394.00 (€ 2,067.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sharon Lockhart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four groups-- (a) Goshogaoka Girls Baseball Team: Chihiro Nishijima; Syake Miyamoto and Tahako Yamada; Kumino Shirai and Eri Hashimoto, Kuminko Kotoka, 1997 four Cibachrome prints--each: 37½ x 31 in. (95.3 x 78.8 cm.) overall: 37½ x 132¾ in. (95.3 in November 2003 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 59,7

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sharon Lockhart erzielen.
