A top price for Sharifah Fatimah - as previously expected
The work New Dawn I by Sharifah Fatimah was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 87,500.00 (€ 9,852.63) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, New Dawn I is the most expensive artwork by Sharifah Fatimah that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit New Dawn I von Sharifah Fatimah kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 87.500,00 (€ 9.852,63) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist New Dawn I das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sharifah Fatimah, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
