Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Drawing for 'Choose your angle' by Shara Hughes was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 17,920.00 (€ 20,577.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 16,000.00 – 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shara Hughes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spins from Swiss in May last year with an auction result of USD 2,940,000.00 (€ 2,739,726.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Drawing for 'Choose your angle' von Shara Hughes kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.920,00 (€ 20.577,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 16.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shara Hughes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spins from Swiss im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.940.000,00 (€ 2.739.726,03).
