This artwork by Seymour Fogel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in June 2014. In the Interiors auction, the work without title sold for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,834.92) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Seymour Fogel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Blowing The Shofar sold at auction in December 2011 with the realized price of USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,577.20).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Seymour Fogel erzielte im Juni 2014 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.834,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Seymour Fogel; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Blowing The Shofar im Dezember 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 5.938,00 (€ 4.577,20).
