Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2014 Christies in London held the auction Eyes Wide Open: An Italian Vision, which included the work Acquatinta by Serse. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,582.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,500.00 – 7,500.00. Other works by Serse have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work Ai Sali d'argento was auctioned for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,640.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Eyes Wide Open: An Italian Vision durch, in der auch die Arbeit Acquatinta von Serse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.582,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.500,00 – 7.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Serse konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2010 die Arbeit Ai Sali d'argento für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.640,81) versteigert.
