A top price for Sarkis Diranian - as previously expected
The work Turkish His Master'S Servant by Sarkis Diranian was sold in the European Paintings including German, Austrian & Central European Paintings and The Orientalist Sale auction at Sothebys in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 15,105.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Turkish His Master'S Servant is the most expensive artwork by Sarkis Diranian that we have observed at auctions so far.
