Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sergio Vacchi could be acquired at Christies in Milan in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Figura mediterranea changed hands for EUR 390.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergio Vacchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Virginia (Ritratto di Virginia Woolf) in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 27,280.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergio Vacchi konnte im November 2011 bei Christies in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Figura mediterranea für EUR 390,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergio Vacchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Virginia (Ritratto di Virginia Woolf) im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.280,00.
