Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sergio Dangelo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in December 2013. In the Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects auction, the work Su una tavola sold for EUR 3,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sergio Dangelo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Quiet Garden sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,298.95).

In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art | Silver and Decorative Objects wurde die Arbeit Su una tavola für EUR 3.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sergio Dangelo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Quiet Garden im November 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.298,95).
