This artwork by Sergey Igumnov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in February this year. In the Vintage Posters Online auction, the work Soviet Armenia sold for GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,617.75) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergey Igumnov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soviet Armenia, which sold at auction in May 2014 for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,374.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 91 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergey Igumnov erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Vintage Posters Online wurde die Arbeit Soviet Armenia für GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.617,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergey Igumnov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Soviet Armenia beobachtet, die im Mai 2014 für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.374,19) versteigert wurde.
