Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,022.85). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Semenovich Voroshilov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Der Heiratsantrag., which sold at auction in March 2008 for CHF 60,000.00 (€ 38,262.58).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.022,85) einen neuen Besitzer.
