Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Ogresse; and fifteen erotic drawings by Sergei Eisenstein was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2017. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,470.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Eisenstein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Fifteen Erotic Drawings, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 60,000.00 (€ 85,461.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Ogresse; and fifteen erotic drawings von Sergei Eisenstein wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.470,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergei Eisenstein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fifteen Erotic Drawings beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 60.000,00 (€ 85.461,09) versteigert wurde.
