Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rain (From The Tv-Scapes Series) by Sencer Vardarman was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,599.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Sencer Vardarman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Berlin Under Water (From The Tv-Scapes Series) was auctioned for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,927.00).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.599,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
