Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Selma Gürbüz was sold in the Contemporary Art/Turkish auction at Sothebys in London in April 2010. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,770.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Selma Gürbüz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Woman with mimosa was auctioned for USD 43,750.00 (€ 29,518.93).
