Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Segundo Planes for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,576.84). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Segundo Planes have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2014 by the work Changó llen con el cielo en la mano at USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,873.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Segundo Planes für USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.576,84) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Segundo Planes wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2014 die Arbeit Changó llen con el cielo en la mano mit USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.873,17).
