Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Metamorfoz (Metamorphosis) by Seckin Pirim was sold in the Contemporary Art/ Turkish auction at Sothebys in London in April 2011. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,630.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Seckin Pirim have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Voice in October last year with an auction result of GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,376.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Metamorfoz (Metamorphosis) von Seckin Pirim wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art/ Turkish bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.630,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Seckin Pirim auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Voice im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.376,01).
