Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS, which included the work North View Queensboro Bridge by Sebastian Cruset. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,780.00 (€ 4,849.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Sebastian Cruset have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work North View Queensboro Bridge 14 1/8 x 24 1/8 in. (35.9 x 61.3 cm.) was auctioned for USD 9,562.50 (€ 8,911.10).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.780,00 (€ 4.849,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00.
