In June 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings, which included the work The Madonna Annunciate by Scipione Pulzone. The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,000.00 (€ 52,580.84), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Scipione Pulzone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Jacopo Boncompagni, Three-Quarter Length, In Armor in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 7,586,500.00 (€ 5,584,879.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Madonna Annunciate von Scipione Pulzone zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 52.580,84) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Scipione Pulzone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Jacopo Boncompagni, Three-Quarter Length, In Armor im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.586.500,00 (€ 5.584.879,27).
