Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Landscape From Panhala Fort,Kolhapur) by Sawalaram Laxman Haldankar was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,340.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Sawalaram Laxman Haldankar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Lady in a Garden) in March last year with an auction result of USD 6,048.00 (€ 5,452.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape From Panhala Fort,Kolhapur) von Sawalaram Laxman Haldankar wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.340,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sawalaram Laxman Haldankar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Lady in a Garden) im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.048,00 (€ 5.452,09).
