Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 66,369.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Savely Abramovich Sorine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life Of Roses And Lilac, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 157,250.00 (€ 198,769.27).
