Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Satish Sinha for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,661.13). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Satish Sinha - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,610.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Satish Sinha für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.661,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Satish Sinha mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.610,16) versteigert wurde.
