Despite a disappointment, a good price for Saqi
This work of art by Saqi could be acquired at Bonhams in London in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work Arg-E Rayen IV (from the Shadows and Dust Series) changed hands for GBP 191.25 (€ 224.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Despite this disappointing result, Arg-E Rayen IV (from the Shadows and Dust Series) is the most expensive artwork by Saqi that we have observed at auction so far.
