Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Standing Nude by Sanyu. The price achieved of HKD 480,000.00 (€ 58,046.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 600,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sanyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Nudes in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 303,985,000.00 (€ 35,256,632.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Standing Nude von Sanyu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 480.000,00 (€ 58.046,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sanyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Nudes im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 303.985.000,00 (€ 35.256.632,18).
