In December 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Study for a Lithograph by Sandra Blow. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,422.50 (€ 2,706.15), 62% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sandra Blow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 71,291.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 62 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study for a Lithograph von Sandra Blow zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.422,50 (€ 2.706,15) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sandra Blow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 71.291,08).
