Auction result well in line with expectations
The work No. 4 by Sandra Blow was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 19,000.00 (€ 21,210.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sandra Blow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Painting, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 48,000.00 (€ 71,291.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit No. 4 von Sandra Blow wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 19.000,00 (€ 21.210,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sandra Blow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Painting beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 48.000,00 (€ 71.291,08) versteigert wurde.
