This artwork by Sandra Blow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2021. In the Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale auction, the work Composition, 1960 sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,465.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sandra Blow; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Painting sold at auction in July 2007 with the realized price of GBP 48,000.00 (€ 71,291.08).

In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Composition, 1960 für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.465,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sandra Blow; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Painting im Juli 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 48.000,00 (€ 71.291,08).
