A top price for Samuel Baldwin - as previously expected
In November 2013 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, British and Impressionist Art, which included the work Sketching From Nature by Samuel Baldwin. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,610.10) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sketching From Nature is the most expensive artwork by Samuel Baldwin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victorian, British and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sketching From Nature von Samuel Baldwin zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.610,10) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sketching From Nature das teuerste Kunstwerk von Samuel Baldwin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
