Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2008 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work The Penetration by Sami Mohammed. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 67,000.00 (€ 43,037.00). Other works by Sami Mohammed have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 79,000.00 (€ 54,603.26) in October 2007 for the work Sabra and Chatilla.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Penetration von Sami Mohammed zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 67.000,00 (€ 43.037,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Sami Mohammed haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 79.000,00 (€ 54.603,26) im Oktober 2007 für die Arbeit Sabra and Chatilla beobachtet.
