A top price for Sam Tchakalian
In April last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art, which included the work A Gentleman Caller, 2000 by Sam Tchakalian. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,865.14). With this result, A Gentleman Caller, 2000 is even the most expensive work of art by Sam Tchakalian that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Gentleman Caller, 2000 von Sam Tchakalian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.865,14) einen neuen Besitzer.
