Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plantes et Feuillages by Sam Szafran was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Szafran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L’Imprimerie Bellini in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 876,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plantes et Feuillages von Sam Szafran wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Szafran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L’Imprimerie Bellini im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 876.500,00.
