The work Escalier by Sam Szafran was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. It achieved a price of EUR 1,890.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sam Szafran achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L’Imprimerie Bellini in December 2019 with an auction result of EUR 876,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Escalier von Sam Szafran kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.890,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sam Szafran erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L’Imprimerie Bellini im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 876.500,00.
