Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Costiera amalfitana by Salvatore Petruolo was auctioned at Il Ponte in December last year. It achieved a price of EUR 1,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvatore Petruolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venezia, il Canal Grande, 1892 in November 2002 with an auction result of EUR 22,320.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Costiera amalfitana von Salvatore Petruolo kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvatore Petruolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venezia, il Canal Grande, 1892 im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.320,00.
