In the 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures auction, the work A bustling Neapolitan street sold for GBP 10,800.00 (€ 15,849.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Salvatore Candido; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Veduta Di Napoli Da Santa Lucia sold at auction in June 2007 with the realized price of EUR 26,400.00.
